Born & raised on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, Jibran has been surfing since he was just 6 years old.

Taught by family and friends, eventualyl Jibran became an instructor when he was just 19 and started teaching lessons on the beach in his hometown of Barras de Navidad, Jalisco.

In 2005, Jibran came to Baja to pursue yoga teacher training and meditation practice. What started as a 1-year plan, became a new life on the peninsula!

While pursuing other things, Jibran has always kept surfing. Since arriving in Baja, he has been teaching lessons whenever he had the time.

In 2019, he finally went back to surfing full-time, and opened Get Stoked Surf School.
